Andrew Flintoff, one of the genuine all-rounders the World Cricket has seen, has quit all forms of cricket yesterday due to a prolonged knee injury. However, he expects England to win the Ashes in Australia, despite his absence.
The English all-rounder has not been playing for quite a while now because of injuries. Flintoff played a stellar role in England's 2005 Ashes win over Australia.
Andrew Strauss, England Cricket Team captain, was all praise for Flintoff's contributions to the England team. He called him an "impact player" who could change the course of a match with his sheer brilliance.
