It was previously reported that Antonov, who has built-up a unique collection of technical equipment and accessories developed by the Cupertino-based technology giant, was planning to open an Apple museum in Moscow. The collection includes monitors, hardware, keyboards and other computer equipment produced by Apple during the last 30 years.

Antonov also said that he had worked at the DPI which, at the beginning of 1997, offered an exchange deal where clients could bring in any old Apple equipment and receive a discount, and as a result he soon acquired a large variety of unwanted hardware.

The collection now sports both stationary and portable models of the Apple IIC (1980), a rare Apple II from 1978, the first pocket computer and even the Mac portable which astronauts have taken to space, reports gdeluxe.com.

The museum is located at 16 Pestovsky Per., bldg. 1, 2nd floor, m. Taganskaya and is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm, entry is free.
