The Roc nation pre-Grammy gala held at the Soho House, California, Saturday was a high-profile celebrity event attended by the crème-de-la-crème of the music industry.

Guests and stars at the event included R&B singer Rihanna, Katy Perry, rapper Neyo, singer Snow and Record Producer and X Factor USA judge L.A. Reid.

Dressed in a corset top and matching bulging trouser, Rihanna looked stunning at the event. However, it was American singer Christina Milian who stole the show in her low-cut strapless dress in graphic patterns.

Although there was a mood of celebration at the event, the stars expressed shock at the news of Whitney Houston's death. Houston, who is regarded as a legend in pop music, died at the Beverly Hills Hilton Saturday. The news was revealed by the superstar singer and actress's publicist Kristin Foster.  

During the event, record producer Clive Davis spoke about Whitney. "I don't have to mask my emotions. I do have a very heavy heart. I am personally devastated. She was so looking forward to tonight," he said.
