LONDON (Reuters) - Property group Liberty International (LII.L: Quote, Profile, Research) and a private Irish investor are the last surviving two bidders for London's Covent Garden for up to 450 million pounds, the Financial Times said on Thursday.

The tourist hub was put up for sale by owners Henderson Group (HGI.L: Quote, Profile, Research) and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in May.

Property group Shaftesbury (SHB.L: Quote, Profile, Research) reached the final shortlist but was put off by the price, the FT added.
