Lokichoggio (IBTimes.com) - GROUP 4 Securicor (G4S) has introduced a revolutionary new courier service that will allow customers in Lokichoggio to access localized courier services in the area for the first time.

...

The new service is targeted towards non-governmental agencies and businesses. It has been launched against the backdrop of increased competition in the courier services division.

Currently, there are over ten recognised firms operating courier services around the country, none of which service the Lokichoggio area.

G4S is a market leader in courier services, handling 80 per cent of total courier deliveries in the country and meeting close to 100 per cent delivery expectations.

“The launch of our Lokichoggio route could not have come at a better time. The increased need for communication between our country and Sudan calls for efficient delivery of vital documents from the many NGOs based in the area,” said Ken Wood, Managing Director, G4S speaking at the official flagging-off of vehicles in Lokichoggio.

We are responding to a demand in the market. Consumers appreciate prompt delivery times, convenient collection points and security for their important deliveries, added.

“We can assure our customers in Lokichoggio and the surrounding areas that they will receive the same quality service they have come to expect from our courier division in other parts of the country,” Wood said.

The G4S courier division has over 800 vehicles and an unparalleled country-wide network of offices for transmission of parcels and letters.

The launch comes soon after the Sh120 million upgrade of the central Nairobi courier hub.
