Kampala (IBTimes.com) - Centenery Rural Development Bank (CERUDEB) has opened up six more new off-site automated teller machines (ATMs) to decongest and shorten queues in the banking halls, Sylvia Zizinga, the public relations officer of CERUDEB, said on Wednesday.
The new Centepoints were opened in 7 towns; Ndeeba, Bwaise, Kasubi, Abayita Ababiri, Bweyogerere and Bugolobi. Another ATM was also put at the corporate branch at Amber House in Kampala. CERUDEB is one of the major Banks that is used by all clases of people. It has many customers which brings about long queues on most of the Bank offices and ATM points. The introduction of the ATMs in the differenet towns will help to reduce on the congestion that had been caused by lack of enough enough Centepoints in town. The public relations officer said that this will also increase on the number of the customers.
