St.Peter Line, a shipping company, which deals with services from Helsinki, St. Petersburg and Stockholm, has announced the opening of a new visa free ferry line, Stockholm - St. Petersburg.

St.Pterline's visa free cruise from Sweden to Russia is the first of its kind in the cruising history of the region.

Beginning April 2011, the new Princess Anastasia cruising ferry will be operating twice a week on the Stockholm – St. Peterburg line, the company said in a statement.

The new ferry line will be the most convenient and affordable way of traveling to Russia, it said, adding that 3-day weekend trips are scheduled to make stops in Tallinn on the way from Stockholm to St. Petersburg.

Princess Anastasia has a capacity of accommodating up to 2353 passengers, up to 580 vehicles and offers cabins of various standards and pricing.
